The dashboard is the first page you see after you sign in as a team admin or manager. It shows how many events you have, any crew or talent waiting for an answer on a request, your next few events and shortcuts to the things you do most. Crew and talent see a different page, the crew dashboard.
Short version
Check Crew Interest Notifications for requests to review, scan Upcoming Events, and use Quick Actions to create an event or add crew. Everything else is in the sidebar.
Stat cards
The top row counts your events:
- Total Events. When a workspace is active, this card is named after it, for example "Fall Season Events", and counts that workspace only.
- All Team Events. Shown only when a workspace is active, so you can compare it with the whole team.
- This Week's Events.
Crew and talent requests
When crew or talent raise a hand for one of your events, the request lands here.
- Crew Interest Notifications. Each request has a Review button. The review dialog has Approve & Assign, Decline and Cancel. When nothing is waiting, you'll see "No pending crew interest notifications".
- Talent Interest Notifications. Each request has Assign Role and Decline. When nothing is waiting, you'll see "No pending talent interests".
Approving a crew request assigns that person straight away as confirmed. See let crew raise their hand for open positions.
Upcoming events
This list shows up to 7 events, with a View all link to the full list. Each row shows the title, a type badge (Live Production or Turnkey Production), the date, the location and how many crew are assigned.
If you have no upcoming events, you'll see "No upcoming events found" and a Create Your First Event button.
Quick actions
| Card | What it does |
|---|---|
| Create New Event | Opens the event form. See create your first event. |
| Add Crew Member | Adds one person to your crew roster. It sends no email, even though the card says "Invite new team member". |
| Send Notifications | "Broadcast updates to crew". Messaging is on Starter and Pro. On Free, this card opens the upgrade dialog. |
The sidebar
- Dashboard, Calendar, Events, Table View, Crew Members, Talent Members, Notifications, Rundowns, Reports, Assets, Asset Reports and Cases.
- Switch Workspace, with your active workspace shown as a colored pill.
- Team Admin and Billing, for team admins only.
- Help and guides, which opens these guides in a new tab.
- The version number, for example "v1.11.15", at the bottom.
Items that need a higher plan show a lock icon. Table View and Rundowns need Starter. Reports, Assets, Asset Reports and Cases need Pro. Clicking a locked item takes you to the Billing page.
On a desktop, the header repeats the main links (Dashboard, Calendar, Events, Notifications, Crew, Talent), shows your workspace, and has your user menu with Profile and Log out.
Things to know
- The crew count includes declines. The "crew assigned" number on each upcoming event counts every assignment, declined ones included. Open the event to see who has confirmed.
- Upcoming Events covers every workspace. The stat cards follow your active workspace. The upcoming list doesn't.
- No analytics. The dashboard doesn't show response rates. To see who has answered, open the event.
