Short answers to the questions we hear most. Each one links to the guide with the details.
Short version
Pricing is per team, crew and talent are always free, and crew answer invites from the email without an account.
Is CrewdUp priced per user or per team?
Per team. Each plan covers a set number of manager seats, crew and talent, workspaces and events. See plans and limits.
Do crew and talent cost anything?
No. Crew and talent are always free and never use a paid seat. They do count toward your plan's crew and talent limit: 10 on Free, 50 on Starter and 200 on Pro.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. Free has no time limit and no card. It covers 1 manager, 10 crew and talent, 1 workspace and 25 events.
Do I need a credit card for a trial?
Not if you choose Starter or Pro when you sign up: you get 31 days with no card. A trial started later from the Billing page or the pricing page asks for a card. See upgrade or change your plan.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your team moves to the Free limits and features. Nothing is deleted, but you can't add more than Free allows until you subscribe. No email is sent when the trial ends, so team admins should watch the banner at the top of the app.
How much is annual billing?
Starter is $39 a month and Pro is $119 a month, billed annually. Monthly, they're $49 and $149.
How do I cancel or downgrade?
A team admin goes to Billing and clicks Manage Subscription, which opens the billing portal. To cancel during a trial, contact CrewdUp.
Do crew need an account to accept an invite?
No. The Yes, I can work and I can't work buttons in the invite email work without signing in. Crew need an account only to see events on their dashboard, raise a hand for work or edit their profile. See respond to an invite.
Does CrewdUp send text messages?
No. CrewdUp doesn't send SMS. Every notification is an email.
Does CrewdUp sync with Google Calendar or Outlook?
No. When crew accept an invite, the confirmation email includes a calendar file (.ics) they can add to any calendar. It's a one-off file, so it doesn't update if the event changes, and talent don't get one.
Does CrewdUp run payroll?
No. CrewdUp doesn't run payroll or pay your crew.
Can I belong to two teams with one email?
No. Each email address can have one CrewdUp account, on one team. Use a different email address for a second team.
How do I change my password?
Sign out, then use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page. There's no password setting on your profile. See reset your password.
Why can't my crew see an event?
New events are hidden until a manager ticks Visible to Crew. Crew also only see events from the managers they're linked to. See your crew dashboard.
